The PADI Open Water Diver course has 4 components:
1. Confined Water Training (swimming pool sessions) in a local swimming pool. You learn 18 essential scuba skills. Small groups mean individual attention.
2. Independent home study of your (included) DVD and Open Water manual at your own pace (we will deliver these to you when you book and pay for your course). The 5 knowledge reviews in the course manual MUST be completed prior to your tutorial session.
3. Tutorial session in the comfort of your own home. When you’re ready we chat through your knowledge reviews with you and help you prepare for your exam.
4. Open Water Dives at Leybourne Lake or Wraysbury (inland dive sites). During these two days you will demonstrate the skills learned during your confined water training and have the opportunity to dive in an open water environment.
